Easy DIY Floating Ghosts for Halloween
Decorating for Halloween doesn’t have to be expensive or difficult. If you love all things spooky, check out this simply DIY Halloween decor – floating ghosts! These would be perfect for the front porch, hanging from a tree limb, or hanging up inside.
Supplies needed:
Styrofoam balls (8", 6", 4")
Cheesecloth (I used about 2 yds per ghost, in 1-yard squares, for a total of 6 yds)
Eye screws (3)
First, you will want to insert your eye screws into the top of each styrofoam ball using your glue.
Then take your black paint and paint on your ghosts’ eyes. Let them dry completely.
Take 1-yard squares of your cheesecloth and place them over the top of each of your styrofoam balls.
Use your scissors to cut rips in the cloth, then stretch it down to create a tattered look.
