The Paseo por El Westside will take place on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at Rinconcito de Esperanza (816 S. Colorado St.) from 9am to 3pm.  The event is FREE and open to the public.

2. 32nd Annual Superhero Exhibit and Contest

• Date: Saturday

• Location: Centro Cultural Aztlan Inc.

• Description: Join us Saturday May 4th from 12-3pm for our 32nd Annual Superhero Exhibit & Contest! We will be celebrating our young artists, showing student artwork from across San Antonio on the theme of "superheroes." Students were prompted to create artwork based on who they consider as positive role models in their school, community, or home. We will present awards in each age category and serve refreshments. The exhibit will be on view thru Thursday May 9th.

3. Art for Autism

• Date: Saturday

• Location: The Shops at La Cantera

• Description: The Autism Treatment Center invites the community to join in celebrating the creative talents of individuals with autism at “Art for Autism.” This event showcases artwork created by artists with autism, of all ages and abilities, providing them with a platform to display and sell their work. All artwork sales will go to the artists, who are all members of the Autism Treatment Center.

4. Big Day of Play: Eco Adventure

• Location: The DoSeum - San Antonio’s Museum for Kids

• Description: How can you be a friend to planet Earth? Become an Earth protector and inspire positive change. On May 4th, join us for our Big Day of Play: Eco Adventure! From 10am to 4pm experience activities where you will construct a community sculpture out of recycled material, make bird seed feeders, create ephemeral art, and celebrate Teacher Appreciation Month.
