February 2024 San Antonio Area Market Report

According to last month's Housing Trends Reports, the San Antonio metro area housing market saw a 14% increase in the number of homes sold. The average and median home price saw a 3% decrease to $348,961 according to SABOR. Residential rental prices also saw a 1% year-over-year decrease, with an average reported price of $1,785.

There was also a slight uptick in the days on market, up 11% from this time last year. In the press release, Will Curtis, SABOR's 2024 Chair of the Board, said “The months of inventory (MOI) was reported at 4.3, similar to the last couple of months. To end February, we saw 4,011 new listings, 11,974 active listings and 2,634 pending listings.”
