November 2022 Market Report San Antonio
San Antonio has seen a steady increase in home prices, with the average home price rising 4% and the median sales price rising 5% from last year, according to the MLS report from the San Antonio Board of Realtors (SABOR).
The report also states that home sales saw a decrease for the eighth consecutive month this year, down 24% from this time last year.
“In November, there was a significant increase in the number of days a home stayed on the market,” said Tracie Hasslocher, SABOR's 2022 Chairman of the Board. “Compared to the same month in 2021, homes were on the market for 52 days, that’s a year-over-year hike of 68 percent.”
In conclusion, home prices continue to increase while sales have continued to decline. Not sure if you should be buying or selling right now? Give our office a call to discuss what the market means for you!
