What to do at the Zoo for the rest of the year!
It's Fall in Texas, and the temps are still HOT. The air is heavy with humidity. The kiddos are antsy. Your brood has been cooped up in the house for so many months now (especially if you're in some parts of San Antonio where they're still doing remote learning), they might even clean their own rooms - just to have something new and different to do. (Well, let’s be honest, they aren’t bored enough to go THAT far). Maybe your little ones are repeating the sing-song line, “Dr. Fauci says stay on the couch-ie” to the classic tune of “Wheels on the Bus”? Or, possibly your middle school age kiddos are adding protective face masks to their Fortnite warriors? Then, there’s your teens, who’ve been chowing down on the remaining food supply like they are competitors in a Nathan’s hot dog eating contest. Needless to say, you’re in need of an enjoyable place that is open for a visit. Or, maybe, you’re looking for an entertaining thing for everyone to do during this “bonding” time around the house?
The San Antonio Zoo has some great, social distanced options to check out--and they can definitely use the support right now!
