Howl-O-Scream has transformed the peaceful SeaWorld into something sinister this Halloween. Nightfall awakens hundreds of creatures roaming scare zones and lurking the halls of haunted houses.
Howl-O-Scream returns with scarier experiences including six horror-filled haunts and seven terror-tories.
Visitors can visit one of the signature Halloween bars, ride coasters at night, and close the night with live entertainment by some favorite creepy creatures and monsters.

October 4, 2023 - Contemporary at Blue Star presents 33rd Annual Red Dot Art Sale and Show opening night
The 33rd Annual Red Dot Art Sale celebrates the work of over 100 San Antonio-based artists. It will honor artist Cathy Cunningham-Little, arts patron Andi Rodriguez, and Arts Education Champions—the MOSAIC students, who designed the graphics for the invitation. In addition, Red Dot will have an online presence through a special partnership with the San Antonio-based social marketplace and augmented reality startup, Kaleido.

October 27-29, 2023 - Day of the Dead San Antonio
Day of the Dead San Antonio is a three-day celebration, featuring a River Parade (October 27), music, food, and other festivities. Kids can indulge in face painting and participate in the Altar kit workshop and painting workshop. Visitors can view the Calavera Collection created by local artists, the colorful Alebrije Exhibit, and the Student Calavera Art Wall.
On Friday and Saturday, adults 21 and older can buy tickets to the Herradura Legends Lounge, where they can Indulge in Herradura Legend tequila, savor specialty cocktails, and dance the night away with a DJ.
